Yirara College

Year 10 students at Yirara College are once again preparing for a block of Vocational and Educational Training in Schools (VETis).

Bent metal rods, sharp-pointed nails and creative young hands have combined at Yirara College to enhance the Easter celebration of the school community.

Chief Administrator for the Northern Territory, The Honourable Mr Tom Pauling and his wife, toured Yirara College during a recent visit to open the parliamentary sitting in Alice Springs.

Josiah Jackson completed Year 12 in 2010 while boarding at Yirara College.

Alex has gained employment at Birrendudu Station (near WA border) through the Northern Territory Cattleman’s Association.
