Service learning opportunities
Finke River Mission partners with Lutheran Education Australia in providing service-learning opportunities for students. Read a story about service-learning for students, or contact us for more information.
Volunteering and employment
Each year dozens of volunteers give their time and energy to help provide services and maintain places of worship and other buildings. These opportunities are ideal for congregations or interest groups (men, women, youth) – and for grey nomads escaping cold winters! Although the conditions in which you will work might be challenging, the relationships you will build with the local community will more than make up for it.
The Lutheran agencies in Central Australia are regularly looking for committed Christian people to fill employment vacancies. These are advertised through LCA eNews and FRM eNews (sign up at www.lca.org.au/enews) or send your resume to admin@finkerivermission.org.au
