Hermannsburg on the ABC
Hermannsburg has featured on the ABC’s popular series, Back Roads. Hosted by former political reporter Heather Ewart, the program highlighted positive aspects of Hermannsburg, in particular the community’s youth engagement programs.
The program featured interviews with prominent Lutherans, including youth worker Nicholas Williams, some of whom were filmed inside Bethlehem church. The Back Roads story presented in a positive light the work of the Lutherans in preserving the local language, something not done in other missions, the program said.
