Christmas creativity at LCC
Lutheran Community Care (LCC) NT kicked off Children’s Week with a fabulous stall at the Alice Springs markets on 25 October. More than 80 children and their carers made photo frames to treasure and Christmas cards for our community Christmas drive later this year.

Areyonga students graduate at Unity College
On Monday 28 October 2019, Unity College in Murray Bridge South Australia presented Year 12 students with a variety of awards and acknowledged their graduation during a valedictory service. Among the graduating class were four students from Areyonga.

Yirara College was honoured to be chosen to host His Royal Highness, Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex KG GCVO, Chairman of the Board of Trustees for The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, acknowledging the 60th anniversary of the award in Australia.

Kwatja Etatha – Living Waters School
Since Alice Springs Lutheran Church founded Living Waters School over 30 years ago, the school has seen a steady increase in Aboriginal student numbers, now at 16% of the school’s total enrolment.

Areyonga celebrates CASLAU confirmations
For a week in October, staff and students from Unity College in Murray Bridge, South Australia, visited the Utju (Areyonga) community in the Northern Territory. The service trip was eye-opening, humbling, challenging and rewarding for the students and staff involved.

Yirara Confirmations 2016
Sixteen Yirara students have publically confessed their faith in the Triune God before a large crowd. The class was the largest for many years, so the service was held in the basketball stadium.
