Many travellers, from early explorers down to present day outback adventurers have died from lack of water. No water, no life. That’s as true for our spiritual lives as it is for our physical lives.

The Hermannsburg Historic Precinct is a popular tourist destination and significant historical site that was included in the National Heritage List in 2006. It attracts 10 000 tourists each year.

Ten staff from Lutheran Community Care (LCC) have graduated with nationally recognised qualifications from Swinburne University on Thursday 15 May 2014.

Men’s bush course was held at the small community of Imanpa from Monday 6 – Thursday 11 April.

The spectacular Mt Liebig, 300kms west of Alice Springs, was a very suitable backdrop for the recent well-attended mini-course on Leviticus in the western desert area of the Centre.

Twenty women from Aileron, Alice Springs, Docker River, Ilamarta, Imanpa, Mutitjulu, Ntaria and Utju attended the second FRM course at Ampiyata Outstation on the weekend of 15–17 April.

The first Big Course for 2011 was held at Yirara College from 8–13 May. About forty people attended the course, including ten women (the biggest attendance yet for women).
